Watching the Tokyo Babylon OVA with a friend and hearing from her that Subaru and Seishirou are in X. 7. What volume of X have you read up to? 18 (and current Asuka installments) 8. What volume of X are you waiting for? The rest. ^^ 9. Do you buy Asuka? Yes, but only if X is in it (or an X furoku). 10. Of the Ten no Ryuu, who is your favorite? Subaru Sumeragi 11. Of the Chi no Ryuu, who is your favorite? Seishirou Sakurazuka. 12. Excluding the Ten no Ryuu and Chi no Ryuu, who is your favorite? Hokuto Sumeragi 13. Out of all X, who is your favorite? Yes...and now that I read the CLAMP radio transcripts I understand why the movie being completely different was perfectly acceptable. And I still think the art and music is wonderful. 20. Were there any cast voices in the movie that you though were sharp/perfect? Seki Tomokazu...but I love his voice in almost every role he does. 21. If you had made the movie, what kind of movie would it be? A movie that focuses more on the characters than the fighting...but that is hard to do in a two hour movie. 22. Have you seen the TV anime? Feel free to tell your impressions? Yes...and while they did change some of the timeline (and the timeframe didn't work too well for 15-16) it was actually well done. I could possibly see the original work ending that way. 23. Were there any cast voices in the TV anime that you though were sharp/perfect? I liked them all, but the casting for Subaru and Seishirou were REALLY well done (even in English, and that's something coming from me). 24. If you had made the TV anime, what kind of series would it be? One where Seishirou doesn't die, maybe? I like bittersweet endings and all, but I'm tired of all my favorite characters dying in series. ^^ 25. Between the original work, the movie, and the TV anime, which is your favorite? The original work hands down, though the TV series is good too. 26. Are there any other X fans around you? Yes...I know several X fans. 27. Have you told anyone you know that you like X? Noticed it the first time I saw it, and I immediately speculated that he was going to revert back to longer hair and gloves again (which he did O.o). 30. What do you say to the fact that the end of the century's "Promised Day of 1999" was quite a while ago? Well, obviously Kamui is going to win, otherwise we'd have to backtrack years to fix the problem in the real world. ^^ 31. How long do you think Hinoto's hair is? Too long... 32. Where do you think Arashi's sword always exist? In another dimension? Kind-of like Acme dimensional warp holes. 33. After their father died, from where do you think Fuuma and Kotori were being supplied their living funds? Savings fund? 34. What do you think Inuki is made up of? Whatever spirits are made of. 35. The sakura tree holds a presense within Seishirou but from where do you think all of the sakura blossoms come from? An illusion, probably. 36. What did you say when Fuuma went evil/mad? I don't like him, but he got a lot hotter. ^^ 37. What did you say at Kotori's death? YES! Well, I did while watching the TV anime since I knew Subaru would show up soon after that. I was actually sad it happened when I read the original work. 38. What did you say when Kamui's personality changed? Good, now he's not a prick. 39. After that (Kamui's decision), do you think Fuuma continued to go to school? Furthermore, where do you think he is living now? Probably not, Evil Kamui would not have a need to do that if he is going to destroy humanity. He's probably living in the government building 40. Fuuma before or after his awakening (as Dark Kamui), which do you prefer/like? After, even though I didn't like him just after he turned. He's showing a different side in more recent volumes. 41. What did you say about the enshrinement location for the Shinken? Cool, not surprised they used CLAMP Campus. 42. Who do you think pays the rent for the place where Kamui's group is staying? Nokoru most likely. 43. Why do you think Sorata wears his own clothes (not a uniform) around CLAMP campus? Because he wants to be different. ^^ Haven't really thought about it. 44. Say something about Saiki-kun. Felt sad when he died; he didn't really have a big enough part. 45. Inuki or Ko-inuki, which do you prefer/like? Ko-inuki is SOOO ADORABLE! And turns into a cool looking shield. 46. Do you really think that Fuuma and Seishirou went on a gourmet tour through Tokyo? I wouldn't be surprised if they did. 47. Kusanagi said that "Fuuma looks like everyone, and yet he also looks different than everyone" but, who do you think he (Fuuma) looks the most like? Himself? 48. I have figured out so many verbs that fit there it's not even funny. I'll go with the bittersweet "aishiteru" though. 50. When he becomes a Chi no Ryuu, the hair style, etc are similar to long ago (TB) Subaru, but which (style) do you prefer/like better? Hmm...tough. I think I like the Tokyo Babylon style is better because it's wispy (and my hair is like that style too). 51. How did you feel about the kissing scene suddenly turning to the bed scene between Sorata and Arashi? It was bound to happen eventually. 52. Up until now, how many hotels has Yuuto gone to do you think? You know, I'm not even sure if I translated this correctly, but how should I know? 53. What did you say at Nataku's death? It was so unfair for Nataku to die like that, but at least it was happy sacrificing itself to save Karen. 54. Who do you not want to die (or didn't want to die)? Seishirou...and I don't want Subaru to die either...which is still a possibility. 55. Do you think that Kamui's father will show up? No, doubt it. 56. From DM and I. ^.- DM has the perfectly tailored jacket that looks EXACTLY like Seishirou's and mine is Subaru's (but it's not the one I cosplayed in last time). ^^ 58. Out of all the Ten no Ryuu and Chi no Ryuu, who do you think has the most money? Hmm...probably Subaru or Seishirou since they are paid by the government to do their jobs. 59. Who is the strongest due to their powers? I'd say Kamui before his choice...he managed to wound Seishirou some in V.6 then...after that, I'd say Subaru and Seishirou are about tied (except Subaru wouldn't kill). 60. Who would you poke fun at? (very loose trans) Yuuto! He's the ONLY one who could get away wearing a PINK suit with a MAUVE buttonfront! As much as I feel sorry for him and I understand the psychology behind his reasoning, he needs someone to straighten his head out since he can't seem to do it himself. ^^ 71. What did you say about the relationship between Hokuto and Kakyou? Pleasantly surprised, but at the same time it made perfect sense in the end. 72. What did you say at Seishirou's death? Damn it, I was right...why am I always right? (I had pretty much given friend's my theory of their resolution to be exactly what happened - though Hokuto's spell didn't factor into it - bittersweet ending with Subaru unwittingly killing Seishirou and a "confession" from Seishirou) 73. Do you think that Seishirou really won the "bet"? No I don't. I also go by the feeling that he was in denial, since his side-story kind of cleared it up for the most part. ^.^ 76. From now, what do you think is going to become of Subaru? I really hope he doesn't actually become the Sakurazukamori...he took the eye yes, but if he ACTUALLY starts killing people, I'm not going to be happy. And then most likely he would definitely become a Chi no Ryuu... not cool. Parallel 77. If you were to become a Ten no Ryuu or Chi no Ryuu, which one would you chose? Ten no Ryuu 78. What is your reason for the above? Cause Schu no Ko and I had a discussion and the decision was that the Chi no Ryuu suck. In comparison, the Chi no Ryuu don't have as many neat super-powers. ^^ 79. If you were to become one of the characters in X, who would you want to be and what would you do? Subaru, and I'd get a life outside of Seishirou (though I doubt I'd give up entirely on him). 80. At least they're shown cooking...do any of the Chi no Ryuu cook...Seishirou cooked in TB, but that doesn't count and tea does not count as cooking either. 84. Did you by the Wonderswan Color game? What were your thoughts on the purchase? Nope, still trying to get an affordable copy...I'd rather have the game strap for it though. 92. Did you by the Playstation game? What were your thoughts on the purchase? Yep!! Preordered it! I love it even though the graphics are definitely bt12d. And I love the costume changes for Subaru & Seishirou. 93. Out of all the X related products you own, which is your favorite (most precious?)? Ooohhh, the choices...all of it? Maybe the X Playstation game, because I love the gallery and playing as the characters. 94. What sort of product would you like to come out next? The next Asuka? Come on CLAMP, five months already??? No, really I think I'd like to see either another artbook with the Asuka insert artwork or a 2004 calendar with new illustrations. Bonus 95. When do you think the last volume of X will come out? When hell freezes over at the rate CLAMP is going...the five month lag has not made me happy...and I'll get even worse if it is six months like I suspect. 96. What is your prediction of the end of X? Kamui dies, humanity is saved...though this whole second wish business has me guessing...please don't let Subaru die. >.< Not a lot of time to develop that idea if they're still sticking to the 20 volumes and 2 artbooks for the major arcana (zero & 22 are the artbooks, supposedly) 97. If you had created the "100 Questions for X", what sort of question(s) would you have liked to do? More on other characters. A lot of the questions were geared toward Subaru & Seishirou (not that I particularly mind), and it would make sense to have more questions for other characters. 98. What got you into X? Watched Tokyo Babylon OVAs and found out Subaru and Seishirou reappeared in X. I show no shame for the motivating factor in my X obsession; it's a "continuation" of TB for me. ^^ 99.
